
Anthony Nogueras founded Alliance
International, Inc. following 17 years experience in the international
logistics industry as a drawback specialist. Alliance International
specializes in implementing and managing duty recovery programs.
In his previous position as Regional Manager, Mr. Nogueras was
responsible for West Coast operations of the nation's largest drawback
service provider. His responsibilities included management of a
7 person staff, and supervision of drawback filing activities for
over forty accounts. Previously, Tony managed the drawback operations
of a multi-national freight forwarding and import brokerage concern.
In this position, he was responsible for 4 regional offices, over
forty employees, and over $50 million in annual drawback recoveries.
Tony brings drawback experience in a variety of industries including, electronics, steel, chemicals, titanium, and textiles. He has developed and presented over twenty duty drawback seminars to potential drawback
filers and industry trade groups. In 1988 he graduated with high honors from San Francisco State University with a BA degree in Economics and International Relations. He is also a Licensed Customs Broker.

Alan J. Rodriguez
Account Executive
Mr. Rodriguez graduated from Georgia Tech in 2000 with a degree in computer engineering. While working for Glenn International Inc., a major wholesaler of lighting and electrical products in Puerto Rico, he gained extensive trade industry experience. He is well versed in the overall drawback process, and is responsible for the identification, implementation, and on-going management of new drawback business in the South Florida area.
During his tenure with Glenn International, he distinguished himself as an expert in lighting consultation and business development. Alan was instrumental in securing and managing a $1.5M high-end lighting project for Puerto Rico's largest bank, Banco Popular, in their downtown San Juan HQ. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Miami with another prestigious lighting firm and founded his own lighting products import company. It was during this time, that he learned of the duty drawback program and identified that Miami, the primary export gateway to Latin America, presented a unique opportunity for this highly specialized service.
In addition to his engineering background, Alan brings as an aptitude for technology and automation to Alliance International.

Suzanne Auzin
Drawback Manager
Suzanne joined Alliance soon after its founding in 2001 and is its longest tenured employee. She is responsible for the claim filing activity for many of Alliance's largest and most prominent clients. As a former owner of a successful small business based in Canada, she shares the entrepreneurial approach that drives Alliance's business model. Suzanne's varied client list has provided her with a broad range of drawback experiences with many different commodities including orange juice, high tech electronics, and chemicals to name a few.
Suzanne is also responsible for the training of new employees on all aspects of the claim preparation process, and is Alliance's foremost expert on the software used to electronically prepare drawback entries.
